I was inspired to create a platform where I could give a voice to the talented individuals that always surrounded me. Here, I copy edited, wrote, photographed and created content that I knew would interest and inspire those who were like-minded.
Other duties included curating content, social media management and scheduling and conducting interviews.

Heaven Knows Kristina Esfandiari is Miserable Now
It is the eve prior to Miserable’s Los Angeles debut, and Kristina Esfandiari is scrambling to find a venue to book her latest effort’s first show, “Everybody in LA is so sweet and charming, and wonderful and helpful, but a lot of the venues were booked like four band bills so they couldn’t get us on,” she said. Because she has become extremely well-versed in the music scene, she managed to tackle the task and landed a space on a bill opening up for P.S. Eliot at the Echo in Silverlake.
To no surprise, Los Angeles welcomed Miserable with open arms. Inhabitants from all over the city flocked out to the Echo to catch the band’s impressive introduction.

Artist Feature: Teenage Wrist
There has been an awakening in the Los Angeles music scene, rather a revival of the ever-prominent shoegaze genre. Bands from all over Southern California are in a daze of musical influences from the 90s, but only a select few are really nailing the amelioration of the era. Teenage Wrist is one of these bands.
This collective four-piece effort is comprised of talented individuals whom all share a musical affiliation with one another. With roots dating back to their high school days in Denver, CO, guitarist Marshall Gallagher, 28, and vocalist/bassist Kamtin Mohager, 30, joined forces after later relocating to LA. “I’ve been in LA for three years, and I remember one of the first things that I did upon getting here was jamming with Kam, so we started cranking out Teenage Wrist songs probably two years ago,” Gallagher said. “We went to the same high school, we just didn’t know it at the time. ”

Cinefile Sibling Duo Shed a New Light on ‘Cinemacy’
For a long time, it seemed that year after year the movie industry was seriously lacking in original content. Every now and then audiences would have an anticipated superhero film to cleanse their palates, or that one big franchise just waiting to deliver the story’s final end. Yet for me, there was no real desire to want go to the movies.
Enter Cinemacy, a fresh and youthful approach to cinema reviews, interviews and more- shining light on some of the best films that deserve to leave the darkness. The quaint El Segundo-based company, came through just in time to show me that the great American past time had not been as lost as I once thought before.
Meet Morgan and Ryan Rojas, the company’s dynamic sibling duo who created Cinemacy through years of shared passion for film.
