The Sundial

Arts & Entertainment Editor
The Sundial, formerly known as The Daily Sundial was where my journalism skills were put to the test. As the semesters carried on, I advanced my positions from staff writer to copy writer. I later became Assistant Features Editor, a role that was both challenging and stressful, but ultimately rewarding.
Leaving the Assistant Features position with a wealth of knowledge, I was later selected to be Arts & Entertainment Editor for the ‘Culture Clash’ section. Here, my duties included creating five or more pages of content for our weekly print edition.
While actively focusing on assigning, editing and securing content, I was also posting daily to the Sundial’s website updating the Culture Clash section, which was promoted through social media management. At the end of the semester, I received the award for Outstanding Editor.
